Province of Chile. It is the only province of VI Region of ÓHiggins that has exit to the sea. It has a population of 41,160 inhabitants. Km² has a surface of 3,295.07. Its capital is Pichilemu, main bath tourist city and of the region in the months of summer. Previously it comprised of the Province of Colchagua.

Pichilemu, that in language mapudungun means "small Forest", is a bath commune of the central zone of Chile, capital of the Province of Caro.Integra Cardinal along with the communes of Placilla, Nancagua, Chépica, Santa Cruz, Pumanque, Palmilla, Peralillo, Christmas, Lolol, Litueche, the Star, Marchihue and Paredones the Electoral District N° 35 and belongs to 9ª Senatorial Circumscription (ÓHiggins).
