San Felipe is a commune of Chile, located in the V Region of Valparaiso, capital of the Province of San Felipe de Aconcagua.Integra along with the communes of The $andes, San Esteban, Long Street, Rinconada, Putaendo, Panquehue, Santa Maria, Llaillay and Catemu the Electoral District N° 11 and belongs to 5ª Senatorial Circumscription (Fifth Cordillera).Desde 1925, is in addition, episcopal seat of the Catholic Diocese of San Felipe de Aconcagua, whose present Bishop is Mons. Economy
The economy of San Felipe is eminently agriculturist, emphasizing the cereal cultures in dry land, fruit trees, grapevine, vegetables and forage for animals.
