The Chacabuco Province includes the region around Santiago, Chile. Situated in the Andean foothills, the province is home to the future site upon which will be built the Bahá'í House of Worship for South America; the last of the seven continental temples in the world (Bahá'í Houses of Worship already exist for North America, Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific Islands).The capital city is Colina. Hill is a located Chilean commune to the north of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago. It is the capital of the Province of Chacabuco.
A place that has tradition and that is well-known from the time in which Hill was only I found, are the Hill Spas located in Peldehue. The waters and their properties are known from before 1822, those that were constituted by a beautiful one and crystalline stream which passage by the valley was opened, in their sources were the famous baths. Several abundant springs appear of the alive rock to a temperature that does not lower of 100° Farenheit. The water is clarísima, without flavor nor special scent. The spas were conformed by cavities opened on the rocks that formed the baths with a brick front. The amount of hot water so great era that, when leaving the baths, with the increase of a small spring that was united to him in the way, it forms the Colina River. Another one of the tourist attractions is the Carvajalino, place that counts on two (2) Swimming pools, a place where you can do roasted and to rest outdoors, totally rustic zone, without letting mention the Hill Quarries, with more than 100 years of life, you can here find artesania with the stone who are born with life of our earth, also you can find an artificial lagoon in the Red Stone sector in Chicureo, Hill sector. The tourism also can be made by the green fields and hills of this earth. |
